Written by the man himself, this autobiography traces back over Paul Gascoigne’s colourful past. Whether it’s a gift for a friend or for yourself, this book is sure to please.

3. The Bumper Book Of Slightly Forgotten British Olympians by Simon Bullivant

Simon Bullivant is the creator of two of the UK’s best panel shows – ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks’ and ‘They Think It’s All Over’, and now he’s brought us this fantastic sports book which is packed to the rafters with sportsmen and women that have been all but forgotten in the annals of time; a truly entertaining read.

    Thank you so much for including The Armchair Olympian. I came across this site on a web search and have tweeted the link this morning from both my accounts. I look forward to exploring further. Oh – and I’d recommend my other book Kissing The Badge for anyone with even a passing interest in Premier League football.
