Can You Read Geronimo Stilton Books Online?

Books for Upper Primary Kids
A page from a GS book - words and pictures. A great Idea. It was a normal evening around dinnertime. I was hurrying home from work. I couldn't wait to eat the tasty cheese casserole I had made.
A page from The Quest for Paradise, by Geronimo Stilton

Actually, for many people a better question would be, who is Geronimo Stilton? Is he an author? A character? A mouse? Perhaps the editor of The Rodent’s Gazette? Wait, is that a real newspaper?

My nine year old, Liam, has recently discovered Geronimo Stilton books, so the question – are there any Geronimo Stilton books you can read online (for free, preferably) naturally comes up. And the answer is – well, sort of.

So far I haven’t been able to track down any source of complete Geronimo Stilton books for reading online for free, but you can preview many of them on Amazon, or download a sample to your Kindle, or Kindle app for iPhone, iPad etc. And of course, you can buy Kindle editions to read on your device.

The Geronimo Stilton website (which is in beta) now has books you can download and read in their special app – only, these aren’t for free either (which is fair enough of course), but more to the point, I couldn’t make them work in either the US or International sites. So if you can speak Italian, off you go. There are also a few pages of the latest book that you can read online at the GS website, or you can download them as JPG files, so if you just want to take a peak, then by all means have a look at those, but otherwise I’m afraid you will have to either buy the actual books (or borrow them from the library) or try a Geronimo Stilton audio book.

So who is Geronimo Stilton anyway?

Well, he is a cool mouse and the author of lots of books about his adventures. He is the brother of Thea Stilton and the editor of the (fictional) newspaper The Rodent’s Gazette. His books have been published by Italian Publisher, Edizioni Piemme, since 2000, and in English by Scholastic since 2004.

Geronimo Stilton Book List

There are dozens of Geronimo Stilton books. Wikipedia has a more complete book list, which also includes the more recent Thea Stilton books (see below).

Geronimo Stilton: The quest for paradise: the return to the kingdom of fantasy

Hi there. No, I’m sorry I sell the books myself. You can click through the links to buy the books from an online bookseller though, or try the link to the Geronimo Stilton website to see if you can making reading them online work. But like I said, they are not free – which is fair enough if you think about it – the author needs to make a living too. (I am not the author by the way, just a fan, like you).

Hi my name is 許麗安 in chinese but i wont tell my real name, I am only 11 years old going to be 12 on May. I am a book lover and love to read geronimo stilton and thea stilton even creepella von cacklefur, I just wish that the price of the book will be low and I am expecting that, so that people or children would buy books kike these to read and to boost their knowledge. And so that people who wants to buy geronimo stilton or thea stilton would buy as many as they want because the price is low and so that you will have so so many customers to buy and to have more money…… “GOD BLESS” to you all and hope that Geronimo, Thea and Creepella wont stop the seriesband continue them until to the future………
